Leeds Ladies Out Of Cup

Last years cup runners-up have been knocked out in the quarter finals by Blackburn Rovers. Former international Rachel McArthur opened the scoring for Leeds, but two second half goals from meant that they will have to wait for another year to lift the trophy. Blackburn now go on to face Charlton Athletic.

Leeds ladies currently sit second in the Nationwide Women`s Premier League, chasing Arsenal who are clear by 5 points having played the same number of games.

The ladies are better than the blokes. Doing very well on a very tight budget seeing as Bates pulled their funding, I think all their funding comes from the sponsor.
