LUFC Saiz To Start The New Year Off With A Bang?

LUFC Saiz To Start The New Year Off With A Bang?

Leeds United and Nottingham Forest meet this afternoon in an important SkyBet Championship clash.

Both sides will be looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats on Saturday.

Leeds saw their four game winning run ended at struggling Birmingham City whilst Nottingham Forest lost against Sunderland, a result that saw Mark Warburton sacked yesterday.

SkyBet make Leeds even-money favourites to claim the three points, Nottingham Forest are 14/5 and it is 5/2 on the draw.

Samu Saiz could come back into the starting line-up for Leeds today. The midfielder came off the bench in the defeat at Birmingham after missing the previous two games through injury.

Saiz, who has already netted nine times for Leeds this season, is 5/1 to open the scoring.

Daryl Murphy is expected to lead the Nottingham Forest attack. The former Ipswich Town striker has netted nine times for the club since joining them in the summer and he will be hoping to make it double figures at Elland Road today.

Murphy is 11/2 to score the first goal of the game today.
