LUFC Berardi - We Must Stay Positive

LUFC Berardi - We Must Stay Positive

Leeds United defender Gaetano Berardi says everyone needs to remain positive after suffering a third straight defeat at the weekend.

Leeds were beaten at Elland Road for the first time this season as they went down to a 1-0 defeat to Reading. The defeat to Reading was on the back of away defeats at Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday, results that have seen Leeds slip from the top of the table to sixth in the Championship.

The Swiss international is now preparing for a trip to Bristol City on Saturday, a side currently above Leeds in the table, and the popular defender believes a win could see Leeds go on a good run in what looks a difficult run of fixtures.

"We have to keep going, we have to work and get ready for our next game, we need to push ourselves, because we need to stay where we are now until the end of the season," Berardi told the Leeds official website .

"This is a hard league, anyone can win or lose against each other and we have another difficult month coming up now.

"We need to be ready and be positive, we are in a bad moment now, but we have to try and win our next game and I`m sure if we can do that, we will go on a good run again.

"It is great to see the stadium so full here at Elland Road, but it is important that everyone remains positive, the players, staff and everyone in the crowd."
