LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - Coyle Continues To Impress

Vital Leeds United will be keeping a close eye on how the Leeds players are doing during their loan spells away from the club.

Leeds have six players out on a loan at the moment.


Lewie Coyle - Fleetwood Town (Season-long loan)
Appearances 9 (0) Total 9 Goals 0


Coyle played the 90 minutes for Fleetwood as they went down to a disappointing 4-2 home defeat to Southend United.

Despite the defeat, Coyle was named the Fleetwood man of the match for a fourth game in a row.




Luke Murphy - Burton Albion (Season-long loan)
Appearances 8 (2) Total 10 Goals 0


Murphy came off the bench for Burton at half time, in their midweek Carabao Cup tie at Manchester United. Burton eventually lost 4-1 having trailed 3-0 at half time.

The midfielder played the 90 minutes on Saturday as Burton came away from Queens Park Rangers with a point in a goalless draw.

Tyler Denton - Port Vale (Season-long loan)
Appearances 6 (0) Total 6 Goals


Denton returned to the starting eleven following the sacking of manager Michael Brown last weekend.

The full-back played for 60 minutes in their 1-1 draw at Yeovil Town.

Marcus Antonsson - Blackburn Rovers (Season-long loan)
Appearances 4 (2) Total 6 Goals 2


Antonsson came off the bench on 71 minutes to help Blackburn claim a point in a 1-1 draw at league leaders Shrewsbury Town.

Mallik Wilks - Accrington Stanley (On loan until January 3rd 2018
Appearances 1 (6) Total 7 Goals 3


Wilks made his first start for Accrington in midweek in the Checkatrade Trophy clash against the Middlesbrough development squad.

Wilks scored in the 3-2 win, his third goal in six appearances.

Despite his midweek goal, Wilks was back on the bench for the game on Saturday as they drew 1-1 with Cheltenham at home.

Wilks came off the bench on 56 minutes.


Ouasim Bouy - Cultural Leonesa - (Season-long loan)
Appearances 1 (2) Total 3 Goals 0


Bouy came off the bench on 61 minutes in midweek, in the Copa Del Ray clash against Valladolid.

Leonesa trailed 2-0 at the time of his arrival on the pitch with Valladolid scoring twice more in the final ten minutes of the game to end the game 4-0.

Bouy came off the bench at the start of the second half on Sunday, as Leonesa were beaten 3-1 at Real Vallecano.
