'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Wise Proud Of Leeds Display

Leeds boss Dennis Wise moved to praise his players today, after a great win against fellow relegation battlers Hull City last night.

A stunning free kick from Alan Thompson was the difference as Leeds made their points total look a tad better. The downside however is that we slipped to last place due to Southend's shock win at Birmingham City, a team with no pitch and who are starting to look shaky!

The injuries are a major talking point and currently not set to get any better. With Flo and Healy out the character of the team will really be tested. It was however nice to see the team react to going in at half time 1-1 after a late first half goal.

We MUST build on this one...Norwich will be tough but theres no reason what-so-ever why we can't pick up points. With Southend going above is as well it makes life a tad difficult. Still a small step closer to safety, with a game in hand!

it looks like the little holiday away as help the squad there looked a lot of togetherness at Hull and that they are all up for the fight.

Interesting to see Birmingham get hammered at home by Southend. Still blaming the new pitch no doubt. If they (Southend) can win there then so can we!
