LUFC Season Ticket Sales Going Well

LUFC Season Ticket Sales Going Well

Leeds United have announced that they have received the highest number of season ticket renewals in ten-years before they went on general sale this week.

The club sold over 14,000 season tickets last summer and the club have announced that 90% of existing season ticket holders have renewed.

Season tickets went on general sale on Monday and the club have said that they had almost 1,000 fans on the waiting list ahead of them going on general sale.

Last season, Leeds finished with their highest average home attendance in twelve-years, has the fans got behind Garry Monk and the team.

637,053 fans came through the turnstiles at Elland Road during the 2016/17 season with an average crowd of 27,698.

The last time that was bettered was during the 2004/05 season when the average was 29,207 in Leeds first season outside of the Premier League.

Leeds also enjoyed their first sell-out at Elland Road in six-years when Newcastle United visited in November 2016 and all home fan tickets were also sold for the clashes against Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City.

In total, nine games at Elland Road saw crowds in excess of 30,000 during the 2016/17 season and Leeds are anticipating season ticket sales to exceed 15,000 this summer.

You can apply for a 2017/18 season ticket on the Leeds United official website.
