LUFC Dallas - Would Be Great If Bartley Returned

Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas says it would be great if Kyle Bartley could return to the club next season.

Bartley has now returned to parent club Swansea City after a successful season on loan at Leeds.

The 25-year-old made 50 appearances for Leeds, he played a pivotal part in Leeds push for the play-offs this season, and he chipped in with six goals, with only leading goalscorer Chris Wood scoring more.

Leeds head coach Garry Monk admitted he would like to see Bartley return to Leeds next season if he is in charge but Swansea boss Paul Clement recently indicated that Bartley would remain at the Liberty Stadium next season.

With Swansea retaining their place in the Premier League next season following Hull City`s loss at Crystal Palace on Sunday, Leeds will hope they can tempt to Bartley back to Elland Road. The former Arsenal trainee is moving into the final year of his current deal at Swansea and Dallas says Bartley was a huge influence on the squad during his time at Leeds and it would be great to see him return.

"He`s massive and he`s proved throughout the season how big a player he can be," Dallas told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"I think he`s missed one league game throughout the whole season.

"He`s a huge influence on the group and he`s miles ahead of his age, if that makes sense.

"Next year it would be great if he could come back here, but I think he can make the step up to the Premier League."
