LUFC Green Extends Leeds Stay
Leeds United goalkeeper Rob Green has activated a clause in his contract to extend his stay at Elland Road by a further twelve-months.
The 37-year-old has been an ever-present in the Championship this season following his release by Queens Park Rangers last summer.
Green signed a one-year deal at Leeds with a clause in his contract activating a twelve-month extension after so many appearances for the club. His start in the 2-0 win against Brighton on Saturday was his 39th appearance this season.
The former England international has played a pivotal part in Leeds rise up the Championship this season and he put in another tremendous performance to ensure Leeds kept a clean sheet in the win against Brighton, his 14th of the season.
