LUFC Wood To Swoop On The Seagulls?

LUFC Wood To Swoop On The Seagulls?

Leeds United and Brighton and Hove Albion meet this evening in an important SkyBet Championship clash.

Both clubs will be hoping to continue their push for promotion this season.

Leeds will be looking to strengthen their grip on a play-off place with just eight games remaining, whilst Brighton know a win would see them move nine points clear of third placed Huddersfield Town.

SkyBet make Brighton 7/5 favourites, Leeds are 21/10 and it is 23/10 on the draw.

Chris Wood will be hoping to continue his superb form in front of goal this season against one of his former clubs. The striker, who has netted 25 times this season, had a spell on loan with the seagulls early in his career.

Wood is 4/1 to open the scoring.

Glenn Murray scored his 18th goal of the season for Brighton in their win over Derby County last week. The on loan Bournemouth striker scored from the penalty spot when the two sides met at the Amex Stadium earlier this season and he enjoys playing against Leeds and he has netted five times in his eight appearances against the whites.

Murray is 9/2 to score the first goal of the game.
