Marques not leaving Leeds

Marques was fast becoming a forgotten man at Leeds, however has suddenly been on the scene of late. The man from Angola impressed as part of the defence during the excellent win against Coventry on New Years Day.

Reports had claimed that he was free to leave this month, however Wisey has other plans:

'At no stage have I ever told Rui he can leave the club.

'He came in on New Year's Day and had a chance.

'He is having his opportunity and I've not discussed anything with him about leaving now.'

I think at the moment we need to keep who we can and bring in a few more, lets have some healthy fighting for places.
