Chase For Romanian International

The agent of Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Viorel Ganea has revealed that Cardiff City, Leeds United and Southampton are interested in the 32-year-old Romanian international.

Ganea's agent Gary Williams said: 'Vio is out of contract at the end of the season but we've been told Wolves are not prepared to sit down and talk about a new deal until then.

'But Vio wants to be a Wolves player and wants to get his future sorted out. We want to show that this is what we want to do.

'His family love Wolverhampton and Vio wants to be part of Wolves. We can't wait until May to find out whether Vio is going to get a contract for next season.

'There is lots of interest in him and Cardiff, Leeds and Southampton have all asked to be kept informed about what's going on.'
