Leeds set to sign Thompson?

Vital Celtic have picked up on an article by the Daily Mirror stating that Celtic Midfielder Alan Thompson is quitting Parkhead and will be signing with Leeds on a free transfer.

It is looking likely that Thompson will have his contract cancelled early and Leeds have made the first bid.

What a great signing this would be. I guess the arrival of Graversen meant he was surplus to requirements. The fact that he's available for the best transfer fee there could ever be (0!) would make it an even sweeter deal.
