'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Leeds downed by Stoke 3-1

Leeds' hope of going into the new year with a few more points were dashed by a Stoke City side who despatched the Yorkshire men with some viciousness.

Ugo Ehigou was passed fit at the last moment, Howson, Healy and Ian Moore were all brought into the squad in a slight reshuffle.

Things started badly for Leeds as a Lee Hendrie cross was turned in by Mamady Sidibe. However the response was a goodun, someone at the club has been reading Vital Football I think with my guide to where the goal is! Ian Moore headed us level only got Ugo to help a shot from another ex-Villan Patrick Berger in to make it 2-1.

Stoke added a third from Ricardo Fuller towards the end of the match, leaving Leeds fan's thinking more about New Year parties, than the current form of the team.*

(* I hope for their sakes!)
