'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Nicholls' Appeal

The club has announced today that they will not be appealing against the red card awarded to Leeds skipper Kevin Nicholls for an alleged elbow.

The incident, late on in the game angered manager Dennis Wise who attempted to defend his new captain by taking a laptop into the after-match conference, and showing the press highlights of the game!

'Nicko' now has a nice Christmas break; a straight red of course will mean a 3-game suspension. At a time where it's all hands to the pumps, the team will be without Kevin for the games against Hull, Sunderland and Stoke.

I think wise needs to look back at his own career before having the cheek to pull players up for dirty play.
