Leeds Ladies Show How It's Done

A 20-yard 'screamer' from Lucy Ward proved enough to overcome Cardiff City in their FA Women`s Premier league, leapfrogging Charlton in the table and into 1st place.

Karen Burke put Leeds ahead with her 11th goal of the season, the former England midfielder scoring from close range after 20 minutes. A penalty from Jessica Fishlock leveled things before Ward wrapped up the 3 points nicely with 15 minutes to go.

Only top of the league on goals scored, but it`s not a bad position to be in. Now for their male counterparts to follow suit and start winning a few eh?

Might work well against Luton. Their boss can't even cope with a female lino...could you imagine his face when he came across 11 leeds ladies footballers lining up against his team?

I think the swapping shirts at the end would appeal.
