Nicholls nears return
Leeds United captain Kevin Nicholls is nearing a return to first team action after more problems with a knee injury.
he 27-year-old has only played five times for the Whites since his summer arrival from Luton Town.
e has recently taken part in a friendly and said: 'It's a step nearer getting back to full fitness.
I know I've got to get fitter and I'm working hard. But I felt fine on the ball and it all depends on how you approach these games.
I'd rather be playing first-team football to be honest, but you've to come through games like this, they're there for a reason.'
