English strikers to battle out cosmopolitan clash

English strikers to battle out cosmopolitan clash

Watford and Leeds United meet at Vicarage Road this afternoon as the cosmopolitan clubs of the SkyBet Championship clash.

Both clubs have Italian owners and they have both brought in a host of players from Italy and across Europe into their squads.

Watford have made the better start of the two to the season, winning two of their three games so far whilst Leeds have won one and lost two.

SkyBet make Watford 8/11 favourites to claim the three points, Leeds are 7/2 and it is 14/5 on the draw.

Despite a number of imports in both squads, they will both be hoping that English strikers will score the goals.

Troy Deeney will once again lead the Watford attack and he is 4/1 to score the first goal.

Leeds will be looking to their own English striker Billy Sharp to score the goals this season following his recent acquisition from Southampton. Sharp scored on his debut against Middlesbrough last weekend and he is 7/1 to score the opener this afternoon.
