LUFC Sharp to shoot Leeds to victory?

Leeds United will be hoping to secure three points this afternoon as they welcome Middlesbrough to Elland Road today for their SkyBet Championship fixture.

Leeds suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Millwall on the opening day and the club moved quickly in the week to reinforce the side as striker Billy Sharp as well as defenders Liam Cooper and Giuseppe Bellusci signed for the club.

Middlesbrough have made a good start with a 2-0 win against Birmingham City last weekend.

The northeast club have also been busy this week with former Leeds midfielder Adam Clayton and former Barcelona defender Damia Abella joining them

SkyBet make Middlesbrough 5/4 favourites to win the game, Leeds are 23/10 and it is 11/5 on the draw.

Leeds have brought in Billy Sharp to spearhead the attack following the departure of Ross McCormack this summer. Sharp is 7/1 to score the first goal and you can get 6/1 on him scoring at any time along with a Leeds win.

Adam Clayton will relish his return to Elland Road. Former manager Neil Warnock bombed out the midfielder in the summer of 2012 and he showed his delight in scoring for his new club Huddersfield in his first meeting against Leeds. Clayton is 11/1 to open the scoring for the visitors.
