Leeds are held to a 0-0 draw in their third game of the season at Luton Town.


2006
Leeds are beaten 1-0 at Crystal Palace in a game that sees Geoff Horsfield sent off for Leeds in the opening fifteen minutes.


2008
Leeds are handed a home second round Carling Cup tie against Crystal Palace after beating Chester City in the first round.


2009
Leeds will face Watford at home in the second round of the Carling Cup when the draw is made following Leeds first round win over Darlington.


2010
Mike Grella signs a new three-year deal at Elland Road after impressing Leeds boss Simon Grayson in pre-season.

2011
Leeds lose their first game at home in ten months when referee Anthony Taylor takes centre stage in the 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough. Both Max Gradel and Jonny Howson are sent off for Leeds and Tony McMahon is sent off for the visitors. Marvin Emnes scores the only goal of the game as Leeds poor start to the season continues.

2012
Transfer listed Leeds United striker Billy Paynter has signed for Yorkshire neighbours Doncaster Rovers.

Paynter has signed for Rovers on a two-year deal after training with the club for the past week.
