Leeds play their first ever champions League fixture when they entertain German side TSV 1860 Munich in a two legged qualifier.
Alan Smith and Ian Harte ensure Leeds go into the second leg with a slender 2-1 lead.
Robbie Blake is on target as Leeds lose their first away game of the season 2-1 at Cardiff City.

Football League chairmen vote to reject Leeds United's appeal against starting the season with a 15-point deduction because of the club's breach of the League's insolvency policy.
According to reports, more than 75 per cent of the 71 chairmen of Football League clubs voted in favour of the punishment. Leeds had already issued a statement saying the club are considering their options.
Leeds start the season with a nail-biting 2-1 win at Scunthorpe United. Enoch Showunmi and Jermaine Beckford score in the final ten minutes to earn Leeds three points.
Leeds beat local neighbours Bradford City 3-2 at Elland Road in the first round of the Carling Cup. Ramon Nunez scores twice and Ross McCormack is also on target for Leeds as they progress to the second round.

Striker Eoghan Stokes in the latest player from the clubs academy system to commit to Leeds United by signing his first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old is the eighth player in the past twelve months from the clubs academy system to sign a professional contract.
Stokes was part of the successful under-18 team, who won their respective division last season and he made 15 appearances during the campaign, netting six times, including a hat trick against Barnsley.
The striker has already represented Republic of Ireland at two levels.
Stokes is the third player from the second year scholars to sign a deal this season joining Smith Tiesse and Afolabi Coker.
These three follow hot on the heels of Eric Grimes, Chris Dawson, Luke Parkin, Lewis Walters and Alex Mowatt who signed professional contracts last season.
