Austin signed a three year deal from Norwegian side SK Brann just over a week ago but his debut has been on hold whilst he gets international clearance.

The Jamaican international jets into England today, ahead of joining up with the rest of the squad on Monday.

With just under one week to go before the first competitive game of the season against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, Austin will make his debut in the sides final pre-season game at Burton on Tuesday evening according to Leeds boss Neil Warnock. 'Rodolph comes into London on Sunday from Miami. He will train on Monday afternoon and he will have half a game on Tuesday,' the Leeds boss told Yorkshire Radio.

Austin will not be short of match fitness with his previous club SK Brann already having played 16 games this season in the Norwegian league before his departure.

The 27 year old was in great form for Brann before his departure, scoring in each of his last two games for the club.
