LUFC Hockaday - Tom Lees could move on

Leeds United first team coach Dave Hockaday wouldn`t rule out a move away from the club for defender Tom Lees.

The former England under-21 international has been linked with a move to Yorkshire neighbours Sheffield Wednesday and Hockaday says he will see what happens today.

Speaking after the win at Swindon Town on Tuesday night, Hockaday said, "I`m hearing a lot of things about Tom. I`m not so sure where we are so let`s see what tomorrow brings.

"If he stays then I`ll be delighted. If he goes and it`s right for him to go then I`ll be delighted for him. But he`s Leeds through and through."

Lees hasn`t featured in Leeds last two pre-season games with Scott Wootton preferred in defence alongside Jason Pearce.

The 23-year-old has been a regular in the Leeds defence in the past three seasons making 135 appearances for the club.
