LUFC Leeds Summer Transfer Rumours - Week Twelve

LUFC Leeds Summer Transfer Rumours - Week Twelve

Vital Leeds United will once again be keeping you up to date with all the transfer rumours during the summer with a weekly update.

Leeds have continued to be linked with a number of foreign imports this week whilst there are a number of players who have been linked with Leeds this summer who will not be joining.

Fabrizio Grillo is being linked with a move to Elland Road with fellow championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers also interested. The left back looks set to leave Italian Serie B side Siena and he spent the second half of last season on loan at Varese.

Leeds have been linked with highly rated French striker Andy Delort although it looks like he is going to join Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

Delort was the joint leading goalscorer in French Ligue 2 last season with 24 goals in 36 games.

Defender Alessandro Gamberini was being linked with a move to Leeds from Italian Serie A side Napoli earlier this week but he joined Serie A side Chievo Verona on a two-year deal.

Leeds and Nottingham Forest are reportedly keen on young Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran.

The 21-year-old midfielder could welcome another loan move having had spells at Swansea City, Middlesbrough, Watford and Wigan Athletic in recent seasons.

Striker Nathan Delfouneso is a free agent after being released by Aston Villa and he is being linked with a move to Leeds.

The 23-year-old spent most of last season on loan at Blackpool and then Coventry City and he has been training with Blackpool during pre-season.

Sam Byram is being linked with a move to the Premier League with Liverpool and Swansea City both being reportedly interested. The clubs player of the season in 2012/13 has now been linked with six cubs this summer, with five of those in the Premier League.

There are a number of players that have been linked with Leeds this summer that will not be joining. Scott Hogan, Rodrgio Ely, Jonathan Rossini, Emyr Huws, Sam Winnall and Davide Astori have all signed for other clubs.

All the players listed have been mentioned in the national press or by an established website and not someone who is supposedly ITK who has an auntie in the ticket office whose daughter goes out with a youth team player, if you know what I mean.

If you see any players linked with a move to or away from Elland Road then please let us know on Vital Leeds.
