LUFC Leeds keen on promising young Milan striker

LUFC Leeds keen on promising young Milan striker

The agent of young AC Milan striker Andrea Petagna says Leeds United are keen on signing his client.

Giuseppe Riso told Calcio News , 'I know Leeds president Cellino is interested.

'There's interest from Cesena technical director Rino Foschi and for us that is a source of pride. But, as mentioned, his future may not even be in Italy."

The 19-year-old striker has come through the Milan youth academy and he has already represented Italy at four levels up to under-19.

He made his Milan debut as an injury time substitute in the Champions League defeat to Zenit Saint Petersburg in December 2012

Petagna signed a five-year deal with Milan last summer and it looked like he was going to get his chance in the first team last season after an impressive pre-season and he came on as a second half substitute on the opening day of the season.

He was then loaned to Serie A rivals Sampdoria and he ironically made his debut against his parent club as a second half substitute in September. Petagna made just two more substitute appearances before returning to Milan in the New Year.

Petagna made two more substitute appearances for Milan before the end of the season and the San Siro side could now look to loan the striker out for the season to gain some first team experience.
