Cellino giving all to Leeds after Cagliari sale

Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has completed the sale of Italian side Cagliari.

Cellino has sold the Serie A club to The Floursid Group, a chemical firm run by the family of former Inter Milan exec Tommaso Giulini.

The new Leeds owner is believed to have sold the club for a figure in the region of 35m and it brings to an end his 22-year tenure as owner of Cagliari.

Cellino is now expected to return to Leeds following the completion of the sale and he is now looking to sort out the vacant coach position as well as bringing in new players ahead of next season.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post , Cellino said, "I`ve closed the deal on Cagliari and now I`m coming back to Leeds to pick a coach and finish the team for next season.

"Cagliari were my love and my dream but I don`t look back, only forward. I`ve sold them to people who will look after the club, I`m sure about that.

"Now I can give all of myself to Leeds. People question me and my decisions but I know what I`m doing. I`ll show everyone that."

Mr. Cellino is stamping his footprints while we are writing here. Good to have a full blooded Owner with attitude. Tare

I think that he does know what he is doing and I also believe that he is an honourable man with ambition and a spence of purpose. We will never second guess what he is doing and we don't understand it. What he is doing is outside our frame of reference in English football. That doesn't mean he us wrong. Dare to believe. I am sure Cellino will deliver. He has a huge task and much to do. Let's beat down the negative campaign, like the recent article from Lee a chapman sofa. Time to start to believe, time to start to dream. Now we do have somebody who can make the difference. Be thankful for where we are and where we are going to. MOT

I have no campaign feeling here nor against for the cause. Mr.Cellino has been sweeping the corridors and absolutely I support him and his Family. This time from 2003-2014 hope has been one hell of a kind and I hope that we can turn this page ASAP. So for the revolution here I salute you, Tare
