LUFC Latest betting for new Leeds coach

LUFC Latest betting for new Leeds coach

With Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino saying he wants to bring in a British coach ahead of interviews this weekend, it is interesting to see who is at the top of the market in the betting.

Former Leeds manager Gary McAllister is the current favourite at 5/4 with BetVictor to replace Brian McDermott.

Eamonn Dolan, who had a short spell as manager of Exeter City over a decade ago now, is as short as 13/8 with SkyBet and William Hill.

Dolan has been working with Reading for the past ten years as academy manager and he led the young royals to the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup this season having defeated Leeds in the early rounds.

The surprise name of Dave Hockaday, who was backed into favourite last weekend, is now 4/1, as is former Newcastle United and Norwich City manager Chris Hughton.

With Cellino stating he was meeting with three British coaches this weekend, the shortest priced Italian is Gianluca Festa. Festa was backed into favourite during the week but his shortest price is now 5/1.
