LUFC Leeds Transfer Rumours - Week Two

LUFC Leeds Transfer Rumours - Week Two

Vital Leeds United will once again be keeping you up to date with all the transfer rumours during the summer with a weekly update.

It has been much quieter on the transfer rumours this week as off field problems at Leeds seem to be taking centre stage and with the clubs bank account frozen. Can we actually bring anyone in at the moment?

It wouldn`t be a transfer window in recent years without Birmingham City winger Chris Burke being linked with a Leeds move.

Leeds have been interested in taking the 30-year-old since the days of Simon Grayson and he is once again being linked with a move to Elland Road. Burke is out of contract at St Andrews and Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Bolton Wanderers and Derby County are all being linked with the Scottish international.

Another player Leeds have been linked with before is once again reportedly on the radar of Leeds after being released. Tommy Rowe was a summer target for Brian McDermott last summer and with the left sided player now out of contract at Peterborough United, Leeds are once again being linked with a move.

Striker Ross McCormack is now being linked with a move to Europe. Spanish La Liga side Malaga are being linked with a £6 million move for McCormack to take the total to nine of clubs linked with him so far this summer.

All the players listed have been mentioned in the national press or by an established website and not someone who is supposedly ITK who has an auntie in the ticket office whose daughter goes out with a youth team player, if you know what I mean.

If you see any players linked with a move to or away from Elland Road then please let us know on Vital Leeds.
