LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - Easter Monday

Vital Leeds is once again looking at how our loan players are doing away from Elland Road this season.

Leeds have ten players out on loan. Steve Morison (Millwall), Ross Killock, Nathan and Lewis Turner (Chester) and Charlie Taylor (Fleetwood),Paul Green (Ipswich Town), Luke Varney (Blackburn Rovers), Gboly Ariyibi (Tranmere Rovers) Adam Drury (Bradford City) and Lee Peltier (Nottingham Forest) are all out on loan for the remainder of the season.


Steve Morison - Millwall (Season)
Morison came off the bench for Millwall in their crucial game with Doncaster Rovers. The striker was denied on three occasions by good saves from Sam Johnstone in the Rovers goal whilst he saw one effort skim off the top of the crossbar as Rovers held out for a 0-0 draw.

Paul Green - Ipswich Town (Season)
Green came off the bench for Ipswich at half time and he scored his first goal for Ipswich as they drew 2-2 with fellow play-off hopefuls Bournemouth.

Luke Varney - Blackburn Rovers (Season)
Varney came off the bench on 59 minutes as Blackburn kept up their play-off hopes with a 4-2 win at Birmingham City.

Charlie Taylor - Fleetwood Town (Season)
Taylor was once again missing for Fleetwood as they kept up their automatic play-off hopes with a hard fought 1-0 home win over Wycombe Wanderers. Fleetwood were forced to play 77 minutes with 10-men after Alan Goodall was shown a straight red card.

Fleetwood remain three points off the automatic promotion places.

Nathan Turner - Chester (Season)
Nathan was once again missing for Chester through injury. He hasn`t played since the 2-0 defeat at Welling on March 29th.

Lewis Turner - Chester (Season)
Lewis played the 90 minutes as Chester secured a crucial three points at second placed Cambridge United. His chip led to the only goal of the game as Chester won 1-0 to remain two points above the relegation places with one game remaining.

Chester are at home to Salisbury on the final day knowing a win will see them avoid relegation.

Ross Killock - Chester FC (Season)
Ross is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury he picked up in the game at with Alfreton on Saturday March 15th.

Adam Drury - Bradford City (End of the season)
Drury played the 90 minutes for Bradford as they lost 1-0 at play-off chasing Swindon Town

Gboly Ariyibi - Tranmere Rovers (Season)
Ariyibi was once again not part of the Tranmere squad as they drew 0-0 at home against Sheffield United.

Appearances 2 Goals 0


Lee Peltier - Nottingham Forest (Season)
Peltier was unable to play for Forest on Easter Monday against Leeds as part of the agreement between the two clubs.
