LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - April 13th - 19th

Vital Leeds is once again looking at how our loan players are doing away from Elland Road this season.

Leeds have ten players out on loan. Steve Morison (Millwall), Ross Killock, Nathan and Lewis Turner (Chester) and Charlie Taylor (Fleetwood),Paul Green (Ipswich Town), Luke Varney (Blackburn Rovers), Gboly Ariyibi (Tranmere Rovers) Adam Drury (Bradford City) and Lee Peltier (Nottingham Forest) are all out on loan for the remainder of the season.


Steve Morison - Millwall (Season)
Morison came off the bench for Millwall as they continued their good form with a 2-1 win at Middlesbrough. Morison came off the bench on 62 minutes with Millwall already 2-0 up and despite conceding ten minutes from the end they held on to win and move out of the relegation places.

Paul Green - Ipswich Town (Season)
Green came off the bench on the hour for Ipswich as their play-off push took a blow in a 3-1 defeat at Watford.

Luke Varney - Blackburn Rovers (Season)
Varney was an unused substitute for Blackburn on Friday as they were held to a goalless draw at Ewood Park by bottom of the table Yeovil Town.

Charlie Taylor - Fleetwood Town (Season)
Taylor was missing for Fleetwood on Friday as they moved to within three points of an automatic promotion place with a 2-1 win at Cheltenham Town.

The win for Fleetwood confirmed they will be at minimum involved in the play-offs.

Nathan Turner - Chester (Season)
Nathan was once again missing for Chester through injury. He hasn`t played since the 2-0 defeat at Welling on March 29th.

Lewis Turner - Chester (Season)
Lewis started the game for Chester in their local derby against Wrexham. Lewis was booked before being replaced on 87 minutes as they battled out a 0-0 draw. The point for Chester sees them move two points outside the relegation places with two games remaining.

Ross Killock - Chester FC (Season)
Ross is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury he picked up in the game at with Alfreton on Saturday March 15th.

Appearances 18 goals 2


Adam Drury - Bradford City (End of the season)
Drury completed the 90 minutes for Bradford and he was booked as Bradford beat play-off chasing Peterborough United 1-0 at home.

Gboly Ariyibi - Tranmere Rovers (Season)
Ariyibi was once again missing from the Tranmere squad as they lost 2-0 at Gillingham.

Appearances 2 Goals 0


Lee Peltier - Nottingham Forest (Season)
Peltier completed the 90 minutes for Forest and he was booked inside 20 minutes as they got their play-off hopes back on track with a 1-0 home win over Birmingham City.
