'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Who should start for Leeds against Charlton?

Leeds United are back in championship action this evening when Charlton Athletic come to Elland Road and manager Brian McDermott must once again make some decisions with the squad.

The first half performance against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday was shocking and there was a huge improvement once he introduced Michael Tonge and Aidy White for the second half.

The good news could be that Rodolph Austin is not fit to play after picking up an ankle injury but even if he was fit, surely Tonge showed enough in 45 minutes to oust the miss-firing Jamaican international.

Aidy White must also be on the verge of a recall to the starting line-up after coming off the bench again and giving Leeds some pace.

What should McDermott do in defence? The back four have been playing like strangers since the turn of the year so whom should McDermott drop and whom should he bring in?

Ross McCormack and Matt Smith will surely start up front for Leeds. That is unless McDermott tells Noel Hunt to go out and earn some of the reported 25,000 a week he is on.

Is it time to give some of the youngsters a go and why can`t Dominic Poleon get in the starting line-up?
