McCormack - Leeds biggest club I will play for

Leeds United striker Ross McCormack says he is playing at the biggest club of his career.

The striker, who started his career with Glasgow Rangers and scored for the Scottish side in the Champions League at Portuguese side Porto, had spells at Doncaster Rovers, Motherwell and Cardiff City before arriving at Elland Road in 2010.

McCormack signed a new and improved deal at Leeds earlier this season, keeping him at the club until 2017 and he admits he enjoys playing for the club in front of big crowds both home and away.

Speaking on the official website , McCormack said, "You are playing in front of big crowds and when you go to away games you have three or four thousand fans there.

"I think that this is a good club to play for and it is possibly the biggest club I`ll ever play for.'

The 27-year-old is enjoying his most productive season in front of goal since his arrival and he has netted 24-goals already this season, making him the championships leading goalscorer. His form has also seen him recalled to Scotland squad, he has been shortlisted for the championship player of the season by the Football League, and he will find out on Sunday night whether he has won at an awards dinner in London.

McCormack is the current squads leading appearances maker having made 146 appearances since his arrival and he has netted 53 times and with three-years remaining on his current contract he could break his way into the clubs top-ten leading goalscorers of all-time if he continues his form of this season.
