LUFC Leeds Fan View v Bolton Wanderers

LUFC Leeds Fan View v Bolton Wanderers

Leeds United season ticket holder Tiny T got to see his first game in five weeks at Elland Road, something he is probably wishing he missed.

He gives his views on how he felt the team performed in the 5-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Butland 6
He stood little chance with any of the goals.

Peltier 1
He was out of position for much of the first half. His, passes went into touch or to the opposition

Lees 3
He struggled against the big man up front and at fault for at least one of the goals.

Wootton 3
Again, like his defensive partner struggled.

Warnock 4
The best of the defenders but that does not say much in a poor performance.

Kebe 0
Waste of space.

Austin 2
He struggled all game.

Murphy 6 Star man
For me the man who tried to get us going but he had no help around him.

Stewart 0
Waste of space.

McCormack 4
No supply to work off and he ended up in areas where he couldn`t do any damage.

Wickham 4
Like Ross, he had nothing to work off but his body language when the goals went in was not very good.

Subs
Byram 4

He brought some life down the right but little support from those in front of him.

Mowatt 4
Game was over when he came on.

Smith 5
Game was over when he came on, good finish for the consolation goal at the end.

Summary
The first half was pretty even until two horrendous decisions by the officials on the 44th minute. The ball was out for a throw to us by at least two feet that was missed by the linesman. Bolton made a quick break, the linesman at the other end missed an offside, and the ball was in the net.

No excuses can be given for the second half, total capitulation we were awful.

McDermott must change his glasses if he thinks Kebe and Stewart are the answer out wide, both have played a number of games to get match fit and neither have yet put a decent ball into the box, can we send them back from whence they came.

Another player who is going backwards and should be rested is Austin, though the defence as a unit was poor especially with those in front missing.

Wholesale changes for Tuesday night? We will have to wait and see.
