LUFC QPR V Leeds - They Have Met Before

Vital Leeds looks at the head-to-head record between Queens Park Rangers and Leeds United in London over the years.

The two sides have met on 24 occasions with Rangers winning 9, Leeds 8 and 7 draws.

The first time the two sides met was during the 1931/32 season when Rangers won an FA Cup tie 3-1.

It wasn`t until the 1948/49 season until the two sides clashed in the league when Rangers won a Second Division clash 2-0.

Leeds had to wait until their sixth visit before recorded their first victory.

Leeds won a First Division clash 1-0 on their way to clinching their first ever top flight Championship.

Rangers recorded their biggest ever win against Leeds during the 1991/92 season when they won 4-1.

Leeds have twice score four times at Rangers when they recorded a 4-1 win during the 1978/79 season and a 4-0 win during the 1993/94 season.

They have a good recent record at Loftus Road losing on just one of their last seven visits including the last time they met when Leeds gate-crashed Rangers promotion party with a 2-1 win on the final day of the season thanks to goals from Max Gradel and Ross McCormack.
