LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - February 2nd - 8th

LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - February 2nd - 8th

Vital Leeds will once again be looking at how our loan players are doing away from Elland Road this season.

Leeds have seven players out on loan. Steve Morison (Millwall), Ross Killock, Nathan and Lewis Turner (Chester) and Charlie Taylor (Fleetwood) are all out on season long loans and have been with their clubs for most of the season.

Paul Green (Ipswich Town) and Luke Varney (Blackburn Rovers joined them on loan this weekend.

Steve Morison - Millwall (Season)
Morison again completed 90 minutes for Millwall and he once again failed to score as they lost at promotion chasing Burnley 3-1.

It is now ten games since the striker last scored.

Appearances 26 goals 4

Paul Green - Ipswich Town (Season)
Green made an instant impact for Ipswich after coming off the bench with just sixteen minutes remaining.

Ipswich trailed 2-0 at Barnsley but fought back to earn a point in a 2-2 draw and Green almost won the game for Ipswich when his goal bound shot was block in the final seconds of the game.

Appearances 1 goals 0

Luke Varney - Blackburn Rovers (Season)
Varney came off the bench after 76 minutes for Blackburn as they ground out a 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough.

Appearances 1 goals 0

Charlie Taylor - Fleetwood Town (Season)
Starting in midweek first. Taylor played the 90 minutes for Fleetwood as they saw their hopes of reaching Wembley in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy take a turn for the worse as they lost the first leg at home to Chesterfield 3-1. It was a bad night for Taylor who was booked inside five minutes for diving in the area.

On Saturday, their game at Newport County was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Appearances 23 goals 0

Nathan Turner - Chester (Season)
Nathan is still out of the Chester side through injury.

The midfielder hasn`t played since picking up an injury at Hereford United on November 12th.

Appearances 18 goals 0

Lewis Turner - Chester (Season)
In midweek, Lewis played the 90 minutes as Chester lost 3-2 at Macclesfield Town.

Chester saw their game at Aldershot on Saturday postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Appearances 28 goals 1

Ross Killock - Chester FC (Season)
Killock was suspended for the game at Chester in midweek following his sending off the previous Saturday.

The defender is available for their next game having received a one-match suspension.

Appearances 11 goals 0
