Wise in talks with Bates

Leeds have confirmed they have approached Dennis Wise about the vacant manager's position at Elland Road.

Swindon have given permission for him and coach Gus Poyet to talk to Leeds and if they move, Swindon are expected to receive the value of one year's salary in compensation.
