LUFC Premier League ref in charge of foxes clash
Premier League referee Mike Dean will be the man in charge when Leeds United welcome league leaders Leicester City to Elland Road on Saturday.
The northwest official has taken charge of 20 games so far this season showing 70 yellow cards and 5 reds.
Dean has taken charge of Leeds on 20 previous occasions with them winning 9, drawing 3 and losing 8. His last game in charge of Leeds was in August when they won 2-1 at Ipswich Town.
The 45-year-old has taken charge of Leicester on 19 occasions with them winning 9, drawing 5 and losing 5. His last game in charge of Leicester was in May when they won 3-2 at Nottingham Forest.
This will be the third time that he has taken charge of a Leeds v Leicester game at Elland Road. He was in charge in April 2004 when Leeds won 3-2 in a game where he sent off Mark Viduka.
He was in charge of the corresponding fixture the following season when Leeds again won, this time 2-1. This time it was Leicester reduced to ten men when he sent off their defender Patrick McCarthy.
