LUFC Charlton Fans View - Cameron Stewart

LUFC Charlton Fans View - Cameron Stewart

Vital Leeds United have been in touch with the fans of Charlton Athletic to get their opinion on new signing Cameron Stewart.

Although Leeds signed Stewart from Hull City, he has spent the first half of this season on loan with Charlton at the Valley.

Charlton fans from the forum Into The Valley give their views on the player who made 18 appearances for the club.

We have had the following responses from cafc101, snippy05 and maddick.

What were his strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths: pace and long range shooting
Weaknesses: strength, tackling/defending, tracking back and crossing.

Strengths: Goal threat.
Weaknesses: Wasteful when creating.

Strengths: Positive on the ball - will run at defences. Confident enough to have a go at goal. All three of his goals were very well taken from distance.

Weaknesses: His crossing is not up to scratch. Lightweight.

Where is his best position?
Cafc101 - Left midfield.

Snippy05 - Could be really effective with the right players round him in the right

Maddick - Left midfield. Cutting in on his right foot.

Would you have liked to have seen him sign for Charlton?
Cafc101 - No, there is better out there with more bottle.

Snippy05 - No one is crying he is going. However you don't always know what you've got until it has gone.

Maddick - Our squad is so mediocre (particularly going forward), some would have liked him to stay. A loan until the end of the season is as far as I would have gone. There's no way I'd have given him the three year deal that Leeds have.

Describe Stewart in three words?
Cafc101 - Decent but lazy.

Maddick - Championship squad player.
