LUFC Palace confirm Leeds interest in Kebe

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has confirmed that Leeds United are interested in signing winger Jimmy Kebe.

Reports have surfaced today that Leeds boss Brian McDermott is keen to sign Kebe, who played for him during his time at Reading.

Leeds are one of a number of clubs being linked with Kebe but Parish says the eagles are not interested in letting the Mali international go out on loan and they have yet to consider any of the offers they have received for the player.

Speaking in the Croydon Advertiser , Parish said, 'He's not going on loan anywhere (in particular).

'There are clubs interested, that's all. Leeds are interested - all the clubs at the top of the Championship are interested.

'We are not looking to send him out on loan anywhere, there has just been a number of Championship clubs.

'We haven't considered whether he's going to go out on loan or if we're going to accept them.'

The 29-year-old made the move to Selhurst Park in the summer after five-and-a-half years at Reading but he has struggled to break into the Palace side since his arrival, making just six appearances.

It looks like he was trying to deny it and admit it at the same time.
