LUFC Points to be shared at the City Ground?

Nottingham Forest and Leeds United meet at the City Ground this afternoon with three crucial points up for grabs.

Both teams currently occupy play-off places and are in similar form. In their last five games, they are both unbeaten, winning two and drawing three. Forest have kept four consecutive clean sheets and Leeds have kept three in their last five games.

SkyBet make Forest even money favourites to claim the three points, Leeds are 11/4 and it is 12/5 on the draw.

Defender Greg Halford was played as a striker in the game with Queens Park Rangers on Boxing Day and he opened the scoring. Halford could again find himself upfront today and he is 7/1 to score the first goal.

Forest could include former Leeds loan defender Eric Lichaj. The American had a successful loan spell at Elland Road in 2011 and he is 33/1 to open the scoring.

Ross McCormack has failed to score in his last two games for Leeds, his leanest spell since September. The Championships leading goalscorer this season is 5/1 to score the first goal this afternoon.

Luke Murphy should be back in the starting line-up for Leeds this afternoon after suspension. Murphy hasn`t scored since scoring a dramatic winner on the opening day and he is 12/1 to open the scoring against Forest.

Vital Leeds Prediction
Six of the last eleven meetings have ended in a draw and I can see it finishing all square once again.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Leeds United 11/2
