LUFC Rotten luck for McCormack again

LUFC Rotten luck for McCormack again

Leeds United striker Ross McCormack`s rotten luck with the Scottish national team continues after he was forced to withdraw from the squad with a hamstring injury.

McCormack only received a late call-up to the squad last week and he played the final 21-minutes of the game with USA on Friday night.

The championships leading goalscorer was forced to return to Leeds today after picking up the injury, the third time he has had to withdraw from one of Gordon Strachan`s squads through either injury or illness this year.

McCormack is now in a race to be fit for Leeds game with Middlesbrough this Saturday although the striker tweeted earlier today that he was confident he would make the game.
