LUFC Leeds Loan Watch - November 10th - 16th

Vital Leeds will once again be looking at how our loan players are doing away from Elland Road.

Leeds currently have seven players out on loan. Steve Morison (Millwall), as well as Nathan and Lewis Turner (Chester) are all out on season long loans.

Charlie Taylor (Fleetwood Town) and Ross Killock (Chester FC) are currently on a one-month loan deals.

Simon Lenighan (Bradford Park Avenue) and Aidy White (Sheffield United) have both gone out on loan this week.

Steve Morison - Millwall (Season)
Morison has had the week off with the international break in full flow.

Appearances 11 goals 1

Nathan Turner - Chester (Season)
Nathan played the first 53 minutes before going off injured in midweek as Chester battled to a point at Hereford United in a 2-2 draw.

He failed to recover in time for the game with Luton Town on Saturday.

Appearances 18 goals 0

Lewis Turner - Chester (Season)
Lewis played the 90 minutes in midweek as the draw at Hereford moved them out of the bottom four.

He again played the 90 minutes on Saturday as they held promotion chasing Luton Town to a 1-1 draw at the Deva Stadium.

Despite a very creditable draw against Luton, to make it four games unbeaten, Chester slipped back into the bottom four.

Appearances 19 goals 1

Charlie Taylor - Fleetwood Town (January 1st)
Taylor played the 90 minutes in midweek for Fleetwood as they progressed in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy. Fleetwood defeated League One Carlisle United 2-0 at home to reach the last four of the northern section.

The young defender again played the 90 minutes as top of the table Fleetwood went down to an injury time free-kick at bottom of the table Northampton Town.

Taylor almost opened the scoring but his left foot effort went just wide.

The defeat saw Fleetwood drop from top to fourth in the League Two table.

Appearances 7 goals 0

Ross Killock - Chester FC (Month)
Killock played the 90 minutes in midweek and he claimed an assist on their second goal as his long ball forward was seized on by Gareth Seddon to score.

The young defender again played the 90 minutes in the draw with Luton on Saturday. Killock was again in the thick of the action with these snippets taken from the Chester official website from their match report on Saturday:

'Leeds loanee Ross Killock gave the ball away as Luton picked out Andre Gray but Killock was able to make amends with a stunning block just as the Hatter's striker unleashed his effort.`

'Ross Killock nearly headed the Blues level but he just couldn't get enough power behind it and Mark Tyler gathered.`

'Ross Killock once again produced a brilliant block deny Andre Gray a shot at goal as Chester looked to press on with the home advantage.`

Appearances 5 goals 0

Simon Lenighan - Bradford Park Avenue (Month
A catch-up on the midweek action first. Simon started the game against Altrincham last Monday night, playing 70 minutes before being substituted in the 4-2 home defeat.

Lenighan was not in the squad on Saturday as Bradford drew 1-1 at Harrogate Town in the Third Round of the FA Carslberg Trophy.

Appearances 3 goals 0

Aidy White - Sheffield United (January 1st)
White made his home debut for Sheffield United as they continue to struggle in League One.

He played the 90 minutes as they went down to a 2-1 home defeat to Gillingham to remain second from bottom in the table.

Appearances 2 goals 0

Ryan Hall - Sheffield United
Loan ended.

Appearances 5 goals 0
