LUFC Diouf away on compassionate leave

Leeds United will be without El Hadji Diouf for the game with Birmingham City on Sunday after he was granted compassionate leave by the club.

Diouf Has been allowed time off to return to Senegal after his former national coach Bruno Metsu died after losing his battle against cancer.

Metsu, who has been described as a father figure to Diouf, led Senegal to the World Cup quarter-finals in 2002, in a tournament where Diouf was named amongst the best players in the tournament.
