LUFC McDermott - We will come out fighting
Leeds United boss Brian McDermott says his team will come out fighting when they return to action with a home game against Birmingham City on Sunday.
McDermott has had two weeks to work with those players not on international duty after a poor run prior to the break.
Leeds have won just one of their last five games and McDermott is expecting a good response.
Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post , McDermott said, "I`m expecting every one of us to respond on Sunday and get a result.
"I`m looking at Birmingham as a game we`re going to win.
"That`s the mind-set, on Sunday we`re going to get a result. We`ve lost a few games and we need a result, I know that and the players know that. They`ll come out fighting."
McDermott should have a fully fit squad to choose from for the game with Birmingham. Ross McCormack and Paul Green have been unused substitutes whilst they have been away with Scotland and the Republic of Ireland respectively. The Leeds boss will assess Rodolph Austin who will be returning from Jamaica but with the game being played on Sunday, he will have an extra day to recover.
