LUFC Leeds looking to continue good away form

Leeds United midfielder Paul Green says they are looking to continue their good away form so far this season when they visit Bolton Wanderers today.

After having a dismal away record last season, which saw Leeds win just four times on the road, they have started this season with two wins and a draw in all competitions.

"Last season our away record wasn`t the best," Green told the official website.

"That is something that we have talked about and it is starting to come around now and hopefully we can get something on Saturday.

"We know that it is going to be a tough game as they have got a lot of quality players but we`ll be ready for it".

Green has reported back to Elland Road after being away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland.

The midfielder won his 17th cap in midweek as they went down to a late defeat in Austria but he won many plaudits being voted the Ireland man of the match.

Leeds will look to get back on track today after losing for the first time this season in their last game before the international break. They visit Bolton, who have picked up just two points in their opening five games.

Bolton will also boast former Leeds favourite Jermaine Beckford in their ranks. The striker moved to the Reebok Stadium from Leicester City in the summer and he is still looking for his first goal for the club.

Beckford netted 85 times for Leeds in three seasons and he will once again receive a great reception from the 4,800 Leeds fans that will be making the trip across the Pennines.
