Nicholls out to Christmas

Midfielder Kevin Nicholls could be out until December after having knee surgery on Tuesday.

icholls suffered the injury as a result of getting his boots caught in the turf at West Brom last week.

e also picked up a knock to the knee in his first training session with the club and consequently missed the first five weeks of the season.

We are all disappointed for the lad,' Leeds caretaker boss John Carver told the club website
