LUFC Burnley Season Preview 2013/14

LUFC Burnley Season Preview 2013/14

Vital Leeds have been in contact with fans of the 23 other clubs in the championship and I have got their predictions on the 2013/14 season.

Today I get the thoughts from Vital Burnley .

Where do you think you will finish this season?
This could be a tough season. We are skint and our squad reflects that in terms of both depth of quality and quantity! Having said that we have looked good in pre-season but any injuries/suspensions and we could be in trouble. We could be in a relegation battle and most fans are predicting bottom half of table.

Your player to watch?
Charlie Austin if he stays but Danny Ings looks to be on fire and could be our key striker this season

Who are you tipping for t automatic promotion?
I should imagine all three clubs relegated from Premier League could be in contention. QPR and Wigan to go up automatically? Could be Leicester`s year though!

Who will finish in the play-off places?
Tough one! Assuming two demoted clubs from Premier League get automatic promotion then the third will be in play-offs with Bolton, Forest and Watford. I will go with Reading in play-offs

Which three teams do you think will be relegated?
I am praying we are not one of them! Let`s go with Barnsley (they can`t keep surviving!), Doncaster and Yeovil.

Where do you think Leeds will finish?
Top half, just missing out on the play-offs.

If you could have one Leeds player, who would it be?
Striking department is weakest area so we will take McCormack! In a small squad you need players who can play in more than one position and we often play strikers on wing so McCormack could slot in!! Also understand he can play central midfield our next weakest area.
