LUFC Bolton Wanderers Season Preview 2013/14

LUFC Bolton Wanderers Season Preview 2013/14

Vital Leeds have been in contact with fans of the 23 other clubs in the championship and I have got their predictions on the 2013/14 season.

Today I get the thoughts of Vital Bolton Wanderers.

Where do you think you will finish this season?
My heart says 'top-two', but my head says 'play-off place'.

Your player to watch?
I think our player to watch will be Jermaine Beckford. He's either a 'boom or bust' candidate.

Who are you tipping for automatic promotion?
If it's not Bolton, I think Brighton and Watford are going to be up there. I think the newly relegated teams will get a culture shock.

Who will finish in the play-off places?
Leicester, Wigan, Reading and... Bolton probably.

Which three teams do you think will be relegated?
This is harder to predict than the promotions. Erm... I've honestly no idea. I've put Yeovil and now I'm not even sure of that.

Where do you think Leeds will finish?
I think Leeds will finish were Bolton finished last season; just outside the play-offs on goal difference, something like that. I think it's too soon yet to consider Leeds promotion candidates, but I also believe 12 months with McDermott at the helm will see them purring next season. I think he's the kind of manager who can get players playing, regardless of how unsuccessful he is in recruiting new blood.

If you could have one Leeds player, who would it be?
Before we signed Beckford it would probably have been McCormack, but now it's out of Austin and Byram... Out of Austin and Byram, I'd have to go Byram. Right-back is our biggest need and given his age, it's a no-brainer.
