No charge for Bates

No charge for Bates

After hearing from the FA today, Leeds have confirmed that chairman Ken Bates will not face a misconduct charge.

Chelseas claims that Bates brought the game into disrepute with his comments to the club were dismissed by the FA and all charges aginst the chairman have been dropped.

The charge followed Bates' claims that the London club 'tapped-up' Tom Taiwo, Michael Woods and Danny Rose. Taiwo and Woods joined Chelsea but Rose opted to stay at Elland Road.
