LUFC Hunt completes Leeds move

Striker Noel Hunt has completed his move to Leeds United after becoming a free agent.

The 30-year old joins his former Reading boss Brian McDermott at Elland Road after coming to the end of his contract at the Madejski Stadium.

The Republic of Ireland international has joined Leeds on a two-year deal.

Hunt spent five years at Reading where he made 162 appearances, scoring 39 goals.

The striker has also had spells at Scottish sides Dunfermline Athletic and Dundee United and he has made 333 appearances, scoring 78 goals during his professional career.

Not convinced that he is going to be prolific for us, it would be a good season for him if he manages to bag 10 goals. Fingers crossed he will bring other things to the team. Should be plenty of competition up front now with Hunt, Varney, Smith, Poleon, Diouf & McCormack all vying for places.
