LUFC Byram out of England squad

LUFC Byram out of England squad

Leeds United defender Sam Byram has been forced to withdraw from the England under-20 squad through injury.

Byram was due to travel to Turkey for the under-20 World Cup finals later this month but after sitting out training at England`s St George`s Park training ground today Byram was sent back to Leeds to assess the injury.

It is unclear at the moment whether it is a re-occurrence of the hip injury that forced him to miss the last two games of the season for Leeds.

Ironically, Luke Garbutt has replaced Byram in the squad. Garbutt started his career at the Leeds United academy before leaving to join Everton in 2009.
